the very first exciting step i take in setting up a new planner is to get my name just right on my planner’s title page.
read on for some planner inspiration AND an easy trick to get your name centered perfectly!
first, decide on the aesthetic you want.
the happy planner has lots of fun gold accents, including the tabs, rings, and cover. so, to match the aesthetic of the planner, i decided to use gold foil letter stickers to put my name on the name plate of this planner’s title page.
alternatively, i think a bright orange would set off the light blue frame nicely. or, of course, a bold black.
if you’re looking for this particular planner, it’s called the “hand drawn whimsy” happy planner. AND GET THIS! michaels.com has an in-store pick up option now! so here’s a link for that:
next, find the perfect stickers!
i found a recollections sticker book from michaels in my sticker stash that has great gold letters.
in fact, it has lots of great little gold shapes and accents, so i’m going to keep this book handy for decorating this planner in the future.
of course, if i knew how to hand letter, i’d try mimicing the “hello” font for my name. that’s a nice alternative to stickers.
here’s how i center it perfectly every time.
