summer isn’t about work–it’s about play! but for me, summer aint about ANYTHING if i’m too sweaty to move. this year, i’m trying to beat the heat with some fun summer cocktails, some fruity and some refreshingly not.
prime day is here! it starts at 12 pm PST and lasts 36 hours.
what is prime day, you say? it’s amazon’s anniversary. to celebrate, amazon rolls black friday and cyber monday into one (and a half) days in july. consider it an extension of this christmas in july craziness!
today’s post will guide you through all things planners and prime! first, i’ll cover the basics for finding great deals. next, and this is the fun part, comes my #plannergirl prime day shopping guide! i list some of my favorite items and some #plannergirl must haves that you can get for a super low price. AND, perhaps more importantly, with FREE TWO-DAY SHIPPING if you’re an amazon prime member.
meal planning prevents the dreaded daily question: “hey babe, what do you want to do for dinner?”
i pretty much HATE this question. not only because i hate having to stop what i’m doing up to three times a day to figure out what the hell i should eat now, but also because i all too frequently simply don’t have an answer and am now too hungry to care much.
enter: meal planning.
spending time once a week (probably on the day of the week you already devote to reviewing your planners and to-do lists) to figure out your meal plan and grocery list for the upcoming week will ease you of this first-world burden.
while i am grateful every day for the warm food and cool drinks i can have any time i want, the fact remains that having to figure out what to eat over and over and over again puts me in an awful mood. so, i had to make a change. meal planning was that change.
is it time for a wardrobe makeover?
every few seasons, i go through a style rut. i’m either sick of the clothes i own, or i repeatedly have nothing to wear even though i’m staring at a closet full of stuff!
here’s the first thing i do to get out of a style rut and initiate a total wardrobe overhaul!
i’m not sure how fair it is to call “black and gold” a trend. it’s such a classic combination. so does it quality? either way, here ae some black and gold pieces inspired by august’s “stay gold” planner girl provisions box.
the palm leaf trend
today’s trend stems from (pun intended?) the palm tree and pineapple trends that have taken over our lives. first and foremost, i’ve got to say blanch from the golden girls was rocking the palm leaf print on her bedroom walls before any of us were out shopping for it! but now that we’re all over it, here’s where you can shop for some of my picks.
this trend is similar to my other favorite fruity trend–the watermelon. these strawberries are a little more high end though! check out the outrageous prices on some of these beauties below.
